Definitions

  • SSO (Single Sign-On): You log in with your company credentials through your company portal.
  • Non-SSO Login: You get a welcome email with a temporary password. Use that to log into WiQ, and then you'll set up your own password for future logins.


Instructions

1. Access the Login Page

  • Open your preferred web browser and navigate to the WiQ login page by entering the following URL: https://app.wiqtech.ca/login. You will see the login interface where you can enter your details.


2. Enter Your Credentials


SSO (Single Sign-On) 

  • Enter your email address.
  • If your company uses Single Sign-On (SSO), you'll be taken to your company portal to log in. Use your regular login details.
  • Click "Don't show this again" to keep yourself logged into WiQ.


  • This will successfully log you into WiQ and redirect you to the WiQ home page.


Non-SSO 

  • Check your inbox for a welcome email with a temporary password. Click "Log into WiQ" to be directed to the login page.

  • Enter the email associated with your WiQ account.
  • Input the temporary password from the email. 
  • After logging in, you will be prompted to set up your own password for future logins. Click "login" to continue.
  • Set Your Password: Follow the prompts to create your new password.
    • Password Requirements:
      • Minimum length: 12 characters
      • Must include at least 1 number
      • Must contain at least 1 special character (e.g., ^ $ * . [ ] ( ) ? - " ! @ # % & / \ , > < ' : ; | _ ~ ` + =)
      • Must have at least 1 uppercase letter
      • Must include at least 1 lowercase letter
  • Click "Login" to continue to the main page.


3. Troubleshoot Login Issues

If you encounter difficulties logging in, consider the following steps:

  • Forgot Password: Enter your email and click 'next'. Click on the 'Forgot Password?' link to receive a password reset email.


  • Error Message: If you see an error message indicating that your access is blocked due to missing permissions, it means you are not added to Active Directory for WiQ. Please contact your IT department for assistance.

WiQ Tip! Ensure that you have a stable internet connection while logging in to avoid interruptions. If problems persist, try using a different web browser or clearing your current browser’s cache.

To clear your browsers cache:

  • Locate the 'Privacy' or 'History' section in your browser settings.
  • Click on 'Delete Browsing Data'.
  • Select the time range and check the box for 'Cached images and files'.
  • Click on 'Delete Data'.
