- Shipping Document Creation Process: Involves four (4) steps each requiring you to complete a section of information to ensure a compliant and complete document (shipping document). These sections include:
1. Load Details
2. Select Pickup Date & Time
3. Select Transporter
4. Review Page

Instructions:
1. Access the Material Approval
- From the Landfill Main Screen, go to the 'Active Material Approvals' section.
- Click on the material approval for which you would like to generate a shipping document. A side panel will open with the material approval details.
- Click on 'Initiate Shipment' to start the shipping document process.
2. Complete the Load Details Page
3. Select Pickup Date and Time
- For detailed information about the Pickup Date and Time Details section of the shipping document creation process, check out: 2. Select Pickup Date & Time
- Select the Date: Click on the Date field to choose the pickup date for the load.
- Select the Time: Click on the Time field to select the specific time for pickup.
- Alternatively, choose the Immediately checkbox if the load needs to be picked up right away.
- Click 'Proceed': Once all fields are completed, click 'Proceed' to move on to the next step.
4. Select Transporter and Add Driver Details
- For detailed information about the Transporter section of the shipping document creation process, check out: 3. Select Transporter
- Select the Transporter: From the dropdown menu, select the Transporter you wish to use for load pickup. The transporter company details will automatically populate in the greyed-out sections below. You will not be able to edit these details. If you do not see the transporter in the list, contact your company’s super user or WiQ Support to have the transporter added. The transporter’s dispatch team will receive a notification about the shipment.
- Add Driver Details (Optional): If you know the driver who will be picking up the load, you can add their contact details. Select the driver from the dropdown menu or type their name in the text box and select 'Create' if they are not already listed. If the driver’s details are added, they will receive a notification with the shipping document and load pickup information.
- Click 'Proceed': Once all fields are completed, click 'Proceed' to move on to the next step.
5. Review and Confirm Shipping Document
- For detailed information about the Review section of the shipping document creation process, check out: 4. Review Page
- Verify the Information: On the Review Page, check that all information is correct. You can add Shipping Notes if needed, which will appear on the shipping document.
- Confirm the Accuracy: Once you have reviewed all the details, type your name into the provided field and check the checkbox to confirm the accuracy of the information.
- Click 'Complete': Click 'Complete' to generate a preview of the shipping document. A pop-up message will confirm that the shipping document is successfully created.
- Final Options: You can now:
- Print the shipping document
- Download a PDF version
- Return to the home screen
