In this article, you will find comprehensive instructions on how to complete the Load Details page for creating a landfill shipping document. This is step two (2) in the process.

Definitions:

• Shipping Document Creation Process: Involves four (4) steps each requiring you to complete a section of information to ensure a compliant and complete document (shipping document). These sections include: 
          1. Load Details (This article)
          2. Select Pickup Date & Time
          3. Select Transporter
          4. Review Page

Instructions:

• On the Load Details page, select the appropriate document type from the dropdown list: either Shipping Document or AER Manifest, depending on your needs.

2. Choose the AER Waste Code

• For both Shipping Document and AER Manifest, select the appropriate AER Waste Code from the dropdown menu. This waste code should automatically populate based on the original material approval.

3. Enter the Quantity of Waste

• Input the Quantity of waste being shipped in the provided field. This is the total weight or volume of the waste material.

4. Select the Units

• Click on the Units dropdown to select the units of measurement for the waste (e.g., kilograms, liters).

5. If You Choose AER Manifest: Add the UN Number

• If you selected AER Manifest, you will need to enter the UN Number associated with the waste shipment. This number is required for hazardous materials.

6. Enter the Quantity of Waste (For AER Manifest)

• As with the Shipping Document, input the quantity of waste being shipped in the provided field.

7. Choose the Handling Code (For AER Manifest)

• Click on the Handling Code dropdown and select the appropriate code that corresponds to the handling requirements of the waste shipment.

8. Add Special Handling Instructions (For AER Manifest)

• If there are any special handling instructions for the shipment, you can type them into the text box provided.

9. Click 'Proceed'

• Once all the required fields are completed, click the 'Proceed' button to continue to step 2 of creating a landfill shipping document.
