Ticket creation process: Involves six (6) steps, each requiring you to complete a section of information to ensure a compliant and complete document (shipping document). These sections include:

Instructions:
Create a ticket
- From the main page, click + Create New Ticket
- A pop-up will appear: Click to select whether you would like to create a product, waste, or template ticket
(1) Pickup Information
- For detailed information about the Pickup Information section of the ticket creation process, check out: 1. Pickup Information
- Source Site Location: Click the dropdowns to select a location type and activity type from the dropdown. If you do not see the appropriate surface location, type it into the surface location field and click 'Create'. You will then need to fill out the rest of the fields manually as well.
- Pick-up Time: Click the calendar icons to select a date and time for pickup. Or click on "Immediately" for immediate pickup of the load.
- Click 'Proceed'
(2) Generator Information
- For detailed information about the Generator Information section of the ticket creation process, check out: 2. Generator Information
- Ticket approver: Click the dropdown menu to select the ticket approver contact name from the dropdown menu. This is the person who will be approving the final offload details. This is also the person available to answer any questions from the transporter, receiver, or emergency services if required.
- If your name does not appear in the dropdown menu, type your name in and click create. Your name will be added to the dropdown menu going forward.
- Phone number/Email: will automatically populate if the ticket approver is in the dropdown list. Manually enter it if you created a custom entry in the previous field.
- EDI Code/PO# and AFE #: Are optional financial fields. If you would like to add these to the manifest or shipping document, enter them in the text boxes available
- To add a Third Party, check the box and add the receiver details if applicable.
- Generator company information is automatically populated in advance of ticket creation. This is greyed out and can not be changed.
- Click 'Proceed' to move to the next section
(3) Shipping Information
- For detailed information about the Shipping Information section of the ticket creation process, check out: 3. Shipping Information (Source Site - SK)
- Waste Description: Click on the dropdown menu to scroll through or type in field to search for the appropriate waste description.
- Waste Classification: Click the dropdown arrow and Select Hazardous Waste.
- Hazardous Waste Classification Selected:
- Click to check the hazardous properties: flammable, corrosive, oxidizing, and leachable toxic.
- UN Number/TDG Shipping Name: Click the dropdown menu to select the UN # and TDG Shipping name from the dropdown menu.
- If you selected a TDG Shipping name with N.O.S enter the technical name of the most hazardous component of the waste in the available N.O.S field.
- Click the dropdown menu to select the Packing Group
- Type to enter the estimated volume and units
- Optional fields: Add notes and attach a file
- Click 'Proceed' to move to the next section
(4) Receiver Information
- For detailed information about the Receiver Location section of the ticket creation process, check out: 4. Receiver Information
- Click the dropdown menu to select an available receiving facility from the dropdown menu. Receivers appear in the list in order of closest facility.
- Note: Receivers who cannot accept the type of waste you are trying to ship, will not appear in the dropdown menu or they will be greyed out.

(5) Transporter Information
- For detailed information about the Transporter Selection section of the ticket creation process, check out: 5. Transporter Information
- Select Transporter: Click the dropdown menu to select a transporter from the dropdown menu. If the transporter you want to use is not available in the list, contact your company's Superuser, or WiQ support for assistance.
- Select Driver name: Not mandatory - but if you know the driver name you can select it from the dropdown menu
- Truck ticket: if you have access to the truck ticket or BOL #, enter it at this time
- Custom driver name: if the driver name does not appear in the available list, type their name in and click create. Add the phone number for the driver. By doing this, they will receive a copy of the manifest to their cell phone via text message.
- If you do not know the driver name, leave this section blank.
- Click 'Proceed' to continue
(6) Finalize
- For detailed information about the Finalize section of the ticket creation process, check out: 6. Finalize
- On this page, confirm all ticket information is correct.
- Confirm the Generator Name, Waste/Product, Location, Transporter, Receiver
- Sign off on the ticket by clicking on the dropdown menu and selecting your name from the dropdown menu. If your name does not appear in the list, type it in and click create. This will add your name to the list and will be available to select next time you create a ticket.
- Click 'Preview and Confirm'
- The ticket is now in DRAFT status. You must click 'Confirm' to finalize a ticket. If you do not confirm the ticket, it will remain in DRAFT Status.
- Once the ticket has been confirmed a copy the ticket will be be sent to the Transporter and Receiving facility.
- Delivery of the document to the driver:
- Printed or digital manifest is sufficient.
