For Hazardous Loads:

  • Receiving Site: BC
    • BC MECC Paper Manifest Required. Not built into WiQ. 
      • For the transportation of hazardous wastes, within the Province of BC, it is mandatory that the shipper of the waste complete a BC Hazardous Waste Manifest. The BC Hazardous Waste Manifest is a form issues by the province with a BC specific unique identifier number. BC Hazardous Waste Manifests can be ordered by telephone from the BC Government's distribution center. Please visit https://www2.gov.bc.ca/gov/content/environment/waste-management/hazardous-waste/resources for more information.
  • Receiving Site: BC

WiQ Tip! There is no current program or exemption in place by the BC Government that allows for digital manifesting. A paper-based manifest, purchased through the Province of BC, must be used for all loads of hazardous wastes.
