  • Start by accessing the main page of the application.

  • You can dispatch tickets that are in the Awaiting Pickup bucket with a "Ticket Created" status, as well as tickets in the In Transit bucket with any of the following statuses:
    • Load Picked Up
    • Driver Dispatched
    • Awaiting Driver Assignment
  • The ticket details will open, allowing you to view a summary of the ticket information. To see the details on the manifest/shipping document, click on the print icon.

  • Note that PART B and C will remain incomplete until the driver accepts the ticket. PART C will be completed once the load has been offloaded at the receiving facility and the cuts have been entered.

3. Dispatch the Ticket

To dispatch the ticket, follow these steps:

  • Click on the "Text Driver" Button
    • Click on the 'Text Driver' button to initiate the dispatch process.
  • Select the Driver
    • A pop-up will appear. Click on the "Driver Name" dropdown to select the driver you would like to dispatch this ticket to. Their phone number will auto-populate in the text box.

WiQ Tip! If you do not see the desired driver in the list, refer to this article: Add & Edit Driver Information.

  • Add Optional Unit Number and Additional Notes
    • If you have the unit number, you can add it in the field.
    • You will see the text message that will be sent to the chosen driver in the text box. If you wish to include any extra details or notes, you can add them here, and they will appear in the driver's text.

  • Send the Message
    • Click 'Send' to dispatch the text message to the driver.

  • Status Update
  • The status of the ticket will change to "Driver Dispatched," logging the timestamp of when you dispatched it. This information is accessible to the generator, transporter, and receiver in the ticket's "history" section.

Conclusion

Congratulations! You have successfully dispatched a ticket on your mobile device.
