Instructions

1.    Navigating to the WiQ Landfill Module 

• From the main page, click 'Landfill'

  

  
  

2.    Managing Application Forms

• From the main page of the Landfill Module, click the Application Forms bucket. All current application forms sent to your facility can be viewed here.

• Columns can be filtered by clicking on the column header and accessing the filter dropdown menu. To remove an applied filter, click 'Reset Filters'

3.    Approving an Application Form

• 'Submitted for Approval' status indicates an application form is pending receiver review and approval
• Click the application form you would like to review and approve
• The application details will appear in the right side window view. Download the form by clicking 'download PDF'

• Click 'Review' to view the details in the application form

• The application form has six (6) sections: Generator information, Billing information, Transporter information, Location Information, Waste Information and Receiver information
• Navigate through each section by clicking 'Proceed' 

• Approve the application form
  • On the Review Page of the application form, input your material approval number. 
    • For each application form submitted by the Generator, the Receiver will issue a unique Material Approval. Generators can then use this approval to create shipping documents for sending loads to the landfill
    • Each Material Approval have a distinct number, which is generated by the Receiver during the application review process
      • Please follow the Receiver's established procedures to create this unique material approval number and enter it in the designated text box. 
  • Sign off on this application form by typing your name in the Authorized Person text box and click 'Approve' to proceed

• The Material Approval can be found in the Active Material Approvals bucket on the main page and can be found using the unique material approval number assigned to it. If you have an application form with multiple wellsite locations, proceed to Step 4.

4. Approving multiple wellsite locations on an Application Form

• When creating an application form, the Generator can specify whether the application is for a single wellsite or multiple wellsite locations. If your facility receives an application with multiple wellsite locations, a 'UWI' dropdown menu will appear at the bottom of the application form. This menu will list all wellsite locations associated with the application form

• Landfill Receiving facilities must sign off on each individual wellsite location. To do this, follow these steps:
  • Click 'UWI' to select the first wellsite location

• Input your unique Material Approvals Number, sign off on this approval by typing your name in the Authorized Person text box, and click 'Approve' to proceed

• A pop-up will appear stating 'Create a Material Approval for another UWI?'. Click 'Yes' to proceed

• Select the next UWI from the dropdown and sign off for approval as previously done 
• A message saying 'Material approval successfully created'! will appear at the top of the page once all wellsite locations have been approved
