Who Does This Impact?

  • Generator Superusers

Instructions

  1. Navigate to the Transporters Page

    • From the main page, navigate to My Company and click on Transporters. This page allows you to view and manage all transporters associated with your company.

  2. Create a New Transporter

    • Click ‘Create Transporter’.
    • A pop-up will appear where you need to provide the transporter’s company information.
    • Input dispatch contact information for the transporter.
    • Select whether the transporter is using the Landfill or Midstream module:
      • Landfill module: Manages active material approvals and initiates solid loads to a landfill.
      • Midstream module: Handles all oilfield waste headed to a waste processing facility.
    • Indicate which module the transporter is part of, as some transporters can haul both liquid and solid waste, while others may only haul one type.
WiQ Tip! Always double-check the transporter’s details before confirming, as this information will appear on the manifest. Ensuring accuracy is crucial to avoid any issues during ticket creation.
  3. Verify Transporter Information

    • Confirm that the transporter company details are correct, as this information will appear on the manifest or shipping document.
    • After filling out all required fields, click ‘Create Transporter’ to confirm the details.
    • A green pop-up will appear, confirming that the transporter has been successfully added to your company.
    • To ensure the new transporter appears in the dropdown list when creating a ticket, click the toggle button to assign the transporter to your company.
    • Users will be able to select this transporter from the dropdown list during ticket creation, and this action will notify the WiQ customer success team for onboarding and training. The transporter status will change to Onboarded once training is complete.

WiQ Tip! When a transporter is in 'Requested' status, ticket creators can enter the Driver's Name and Driver's Phone Number. Note that dispatchers and drivers cannot receive documentation via text, so it's essential to provide a paper copy. This is what the ticket creator will see when the transporter is not yet onboarded.

Conclusion

Congratulations! You have successfully created a new transporter in your company profile.
