Definitions:

• Ticket creation process: Involves six (6) steps, each requiring you to complete a section of information to ensure a compliant and complete document (manifest or shipping document). These sections include:

    1. Pickup Information

    2. Generator Information

    3. Shipping Information

    4. Receiver Information (this article)

    5. Transporter Information

    6. Finalize

• Intended Receiver: intended receiver is the facility that you plan to send a load to. This is the target recipient selected by the generator operator during ticket creation.
• Actual Receiver: is the facility that ultimately receives the load. This is the actual recipient of the load and will be updated on the ticket by the receiver operator when the waste is offloaded.

Instructions:

1. Navigate the Receiver list

• Receiving facilities will appear in the dropdown menu in the following format: 
  • [Company Name - Facility Name (Surface Location) - [KM between pickup/drop-off]
  • *KMs are calculated based on the distance between the pickup location (LSD) and the receiving facility (LSD)
  • Receiving facilities will appear in ascending order using driving distance to the facility. So the operator is seeing the closest available facility first.
• Only receivers that can accept the type of waste/product that is being sent will be listed in the dropdown menu.
  • Receivers manage their acceptable substances list in their WiQ Receiver profiles. If you notice a receiver is not available in the dropdown menu, but typically ship that waste type to them, they may need to update their receiver profile. Contact WiQ support for assistance.
    

2. Select a Receiving Facility

• Click the dropdown menu and select a receiver from the dropdown menu.
• The receiver company details will be automatically populated in the company information section.
