Definitions:
- Intended Receiver: is the facility that is initially designated to receive the waste or product load. This is the planned destination that the generator selected during ticket creation. This will appear on the manifest/shipping document throughout the entire lifecycle of a ticket.
- Actual Receiver (Consignee): is the facility that ultimately receives the waste or product load. This may differ from the intended receiver if the load is redirected or if there are changes during the transportation process. When the ticket is first created, the actual receiver (consignee) will be left blank on the manifest or shipping document. Once the load has been received, the consignee details will be added to the final manifest/shipping document.
Instructions
1. Access the Ticket
- Navigate to the WiQ main page and select the ticket you would like to redirect.
- In the side panel, click 'Complete Ticket'. This will take you to the Complete Ticket page.
2. Navigate to the Offload Information Section
- On the Complete Ticket Page, click Offload Information section.
- The Intended Receiver is greyed out because this selection was made by the generator.
- The Actual Receiving facility can be changed by navigating to the dropdown menu.
3. Change the Receiver Facility
- Click dropdown menu next to the Actual Receiver Facility to choose the receiving facility
- Since you are selecting a different company a warning will pop up
- This warning will indicate that by changing the actual facility to a different company, you will lose access to this ticket. This action cannot be undone.
- If you are sure you want to proceed, click on 'proceed' to confirm the change.
- Click 'proceed'. A green confirmation box will appear, confirming that the receiver has been changed and you will no longer be able to access this ticket.
WiQ Tip! If you complete this redirect to a different company, you will no longer be able to see the ticket. Please ensure that you have double-checked all information. Changing the receiver will also update the "Actual Receiver" on the manifest.
4. Notifications
- The new receiving facility will get an email with the load information.
- The generator will also be notified that the load was redirected.
