2. Complete the Ticket Details
In the ticket details window, click 'Complete Ticket'. Click 'Reject Load'.
Reason for Rejection: A pop-up will appear requesting that you provide a reason for why the waste cannot be accepted at your facility. Your options for rejecting a load include:
- Redirect: allows the receiving facility to redirect a load to another facility. This can be used if wait times are too long, the facility is temporarily shut down, or if they cannot accept the type of waste being received.
- Non-Conforming: If your facility does not accept the type of waste sent, and you do not know of another receiver to redirect it to, you can reject it. This will notify the generator that the load has been rejected and they need to select a new receiver.
- Other: For any other reason you have for rejecting the load. This will notify the generator that the load has been rejected and they need to select a new receiver.
Redirect:
From the dropdown menu, chose another facility that can accept the load.
Type in the subject line and description of the issue to provide a reason for the rejection. This information will be sent via email to the receiving facility that you are sending the load to. The generator will be notified that the load was redirected.
For more detailed information about the load redirection process, check out the 'Redirect a Load' article.
Non-Conforming:
Type in the text box to provide the reason for the non-conformance. The generator operator will receive a notification that the load has been rejected and be able to see the description of the issue in the history of the ticket.
The generator operator will be required to select a new receiver.
Other:
Other is a selection that can be used for all other reasons for rejection.
